Turtle Lake Township Town Hall
The town hall, which was built in the early 1900s, was the Turtle Lake School House belonging to Independent School District #5. The school board gave the use of Turtle Lake School House to the town for public use on December 27, 1937 with a request for the town to carry a $500 fire insurance policy payable to the school district. On October 6, 1939, Independent School District #5 deeded the school to the Town for a fee of $1.00.
The town hall and town garage, located on Cass County #13 (Onigum Road) in the northern portion of the township is the center of township activities. Meetings are held at the town hall and it serves as a voting precinct for elections.
A new town hall was constructed in 2011.
